The Saudi Society of Nephrology and Transplantation established the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017 to recognize outstanding Nephrologist who had made significant contributions to the field. Started from 2018, the board approved that the award will be given every 3 years.

The award can be received only once.

Award Eligibility

1. Nominee has been a member of SSN&T for at least 10 years and 55 years of age or above.
2. Nominee is a current active or honorary SSN&T member.
3. Nomination by a SSN&T member and or SSN&T board members.
4. Accomplishments consistent with SSN&T mission and goals.
5. Nominee must have made outstanding service to Saudi Society of Nephrology and Transplantation through participation on committees and/or participation in educational activities including SSN&T conferences and symposium.
6. Nominee has an excellent record of publications at peer reviewed journal.
7. Nominee had successful mentoring of graduate, postgraduate students and / or fellows.

Award

1. A plaque and certificate.
2. All expenses covered for awardees to attend the SSN&T meeting to receive the award (flight ticket and hotel accommodation).
